Supporting patients with inherited metabolic disorders accessing educational support

Galen, the privately-owned pharmaceutical sales and marketing company, is pleased to announce the launch of their new educational support programme, 'Galen's Learning Lab'. This challenge-based initiative supports young people (age 5+) across Europe with metabolic disorders, such as PKU or HCU, to get the educational support they need.

The challenge is open to young people with a metabolic disorder (aged 5 and up) across Europe, and there are 8 prizes up for grabs. With 4 categories divided by age range, there's a category for everyone to participate in, with entry requirements varying dependant on the category.

The programme reflects Galen's continued commitment to supporting the metabolic disorder community through innovation, quality and providing valuable resources.

Speaking on the launch, Galen's Associate Director - Medical Nutrition, Sarah Dolan Ph.D. stated "We believe that individuals with metabolic disorders, when managed properly, can achieve the same educational goals as anyone else. Galen is dedicated to providing innovative, high-quality support to those diagnosed with such conditions. We are excited to introduce this education programme that offers encouragement and assistance to help individuals reach their full potential."

Submissions must be made using the Galen Medical Nutrition website – www.galenmedicalnutrition.com/galens-learning-lab by Friday 31st August at 5pm. A judging panel will select the winners which will be announced on 7th September.
