Together with Almac Group’s Board of Directors, Dennise is responsible for all aspects of the pharmaceutical company’s operations, marketing and governance across its sites throughout Europe and the US.
Dennise is a highly successful, respected and inspiring Executive Business Leader, with an extensive career within the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently Dennise held the position of Country Manager, leading the Irish affiliate of IPSEN Pharmaceuticals and was responsible for all aspects of the business. Prior to this Dennise also held CEO/MD and senior leadership roles with Pfizer, Hospira, Zeneus, Viatris and other pharmaceutical companies both in Ireland and Europe.
Dennise is also very highly respected academically and remains on the invite list as a guest lecturer within the National Universities of Ireland having previously lectured part-time within their network.
Simon’s role focuses on the strategic identification, evaluation & delivery of growth opportunities for Galen, such as in-licensing of new products & expansion to new international markets.
In addition, Simon has responsibility for managing the development of new assets to expand Galen’s portfolio of products, as well as building mutually beneficial, long-term collaborations with licensees to ensure that Galen delivers on its promise of being a partner of choice in its operational markets.
Simon studied Pharmacy at Aston University in England and has over 32 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ken’s role involves the management of Galen’s sales teams in the UK and Ireland, selling a range of products, particularly Penthrox in to Emergency Departments, throughout UK and Ireland. Ken is also the designated Responsible Person.
Galen’s Commercial Operations department oversees a number of areas. Ken’s team are responsible for managing the supply chain, purchasing, sales order processing, sales of Galen’s generic portfolio in the UK, and managing sales to licensees in Europe and logistics.
Ken studied at the University of Glasgow and has over 34 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Martin is responsible for overseeing and developing the financial and operational aspects of the global Galen organisation as well as having involvement in key business projects as a member of the Galen Leadership Team.
Martin studied at the University of Stirling, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has over 20 years’ experience in finance.
