The role

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team.  This role will be responsible for the preparation of information required for the company accounts, management reports, maintaining appropriate financial controls, as well as other Finance tasks and projects as appropriate.

Please note this is a fixed term contract 9-12 months maternity cover

Essential Criteria

  • Fully qualified accountant from a recognised professional body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent body)
  • GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent level qualification) in Maths and English
  • Previous experience in accounts preparation ideally in a retail or pharmaceutical environment
  • Previous experience in numerical analysis
  • Previous experience in Budget and Costing
  • Knowledge of Finance processes, including ordering, invoicing, and reporting
 
Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)
  • Degree level qualification
  • Previous experience purchasing and controlling stock.
  • Good understanding of Sales and Marketing
  •
