Applications Open for 2026 John Hinds Scholarship Award
Galen, the privately owned pharmaceutical company, has announced the launch of the 2026 John Hinds Scholarship Award, now in its seventh year in partnership with the College of Paramedics.
The award honours the legacy of Dr John Hinds, a much-loved and respected figure among paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) across the island of Ireland. Renowned for his dedication to prehospital care, Dr Hinds gave generously of his time to educate and support frontline responders. The scholarship continues to reflect his passion and commitment.

Applications open on 1st November 2025 and close on 12th February 2026.
All levels of prehospital responders are invited to apply by submitting a Clinical Case Study of an incident they attended.
